Chaos Horntail - CHT (BOSS GUIDE)
Note: this guide is pre-unlimited or unleashed whichever u want to call it so HP and attack patterns may have changed.
Welcome to my Chaos Horntail Guide for those of you who are relatively new to maple CHT is just a shortened term for Chaos Horntail. Without further ado lets get started.

Now the bit before actual fighting, the party quest i assume its the same since the boss only changes i don't see a good reason lazy nexon would have to change the party quest before the actual boss if you don't know what the party quest is plox refer to my previous normal horntail guide:
https://accer.forumotion.com/t261-horntail-guide-htpq
CHT is similar to normal HT only the looks are however the minimum level requirement however is much higher, normal HT is only 140 however CHT is 160. Being 160 does not ensure your survival it only ensures that you will not hit misses.
Chaos Horntail Total HP (Includ. Prelim. Heads): 12,380,000,000HP
Now the 3 stages once again:
Stage 1: Prelim Head (Left), 1,650,000,000HP
The Prelim Head is easy it's practically the same as the prelim heads from normal ht only the damage is a bit higher and the HP is raised.
The left prelim head uses: WATK/MATK cancel, Summons wyverns once again aim at the black wyverns since they will use dispel, seduce, superknock back magic attack and 1/1 HP/MP.
Stage 2: Prelim Head (Right), 1,650,000,000HP
The Right Prelim Head pretty much the same as the left only the animations for the attacks change however the effects of the attacks remain the same. Thus WATK/MATK cancel, Summons wyverns once again aim at the black wyverns since they will use dispel, seduce, superknock back magic attack and 1/1 HP/MP.
Stage 2.5 Break
Once you enter Chaos Horntail's chamber take a break and reorganize DO NOT MOVE AND DO AS YOUR EXPD LEADER ASKS UNLESS THEIR A NOOB OR A DICK.
Stage 3: Chaos Horntail, 9,080,000,000HP
Like my previous HT guide DO NOT HIT THE PURPLE STONE ONCE YOU ENTER THE MAP LEAVE IT TO YOUR EXPD LEADER.
Assume CHT is the same as normal HT we start with the tails and legs.
Chaos Horntail's Tail, 450,000,000HP
Chaos Horntail's Legs, 650,000,000HP
The method is similar to killing normal HT so just have ranged attacking the tail and melee attacking the legs and try survive. Advantage once tail and legs have been cleared players can freely move from side to side. CHT's Tails uses poison which will hit 3500 DMG lasting 20 seconds with a 90% chance of poisoning your character as well as high touch dmg and support from the rest of horntail's body proving it a tricky opponent.
CHT's legs only have physical attacks and weak debuffs such as seal however still has high touch damage. So try get rid of its legs and tail asap allowing party members to move around the map more freely.
Chaos Horntail's Wings 1,350,000,000HP
Chaos Horntail's Wings summon green/dark cornians, heal itself and use ATK/MATK up on itself. Chaos Horntail's wings cover the hands so getting rid of them is advisable.
Chaos Horntail's Left Hand, 1,150,000,000HP
Chaos Horntail's Left Hand is vastly different from normal Horntail's as it Dispels, MDEF/WDEF up, Seduce, MP drain and Joystick curse. Joystick curse is a new debuff against players as joystick curse makes players loose HP when they move. Getting rid of the left hand is recommended to avoid further dispelling.
Chaos Horntail's Right Hand, 1,150,000,000HP
Chaos Horntail's Right Hand is once again vastly different from normal Horntail's and it uses: Seal, Darkness, Joystick Curse, Seduce, WDEF/MDEF up, weakness and potion lock, as the name states potion lock prevents you from using any potions for a period of time.
Chaos Horntail's Left Head, 1,650,000,000HP
CHT's Left head is similar to the prelim head but now has a wider variety of debuffs to use, CHT's Left head is expected to use WATK/MATK cancel, Summon wyvern which will dispel you, zombify, Damage reflect, 1/1, Seduce and physical attacks which will cause knock back.
Chaos Horntail's Right Head, 1,650,000,000HP
CHT's right head once again is similar to the left head except on the right all debuffs remain pretty much the same.
Chaos Horntail's Middle Head, 1,950,000,000HP
CHT's middle head has a wider range of debuffs, WATK/MATK cancel, seduce, zombify, reverse keys, Damage reflect, 1/1, knockback, seduce. CHT's middle head only uses the complex debuffs in which npc sold items will not work to cure. Only hero's will, will cure the debuffs which effect your character.
This guide is information gathered from sites and youtube videos thus it may be inaccurate in some parts but when facing CHT be prepared for everything since it will uh well use everything it has. There is no particular order to kill CHT's body parts only attack the bottom half of it's body so moving around the map is much easier. Movement around the map always comes first, everything else is just meh do it later. Last body part to be defeated is always the weakest one normally the arms.
If there is any error plox PM me and ill fix it
...GL defeating it Accer
PS, any player over 160 who's at least been normal zak/normal ht/czak and is interested in going CHT plox express your interest by telling one of the jr's if enough people want to go there most probably will be a run hosted.
